Allied Group at the NI Manufacturing Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition 2026

What a fantastic day for the Allied Group team at the NI Manufacturing Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition at the Eikon Exhibition Centre.

From conversations with manufacturers and industry leaders to discussions around the future of supply chains and international trade, it was brilliant to see so many Northern Ireland businesses coming together to talk about the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Allied Group taking CBAM to the Supply Chain Stage

A particular highlight for us was seeing our Head of Sales, Kieran McCann, take to the Supply Chain Stage to talk about one of the biggest changes facing manufacturers trading internationally: the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).

Kieran broke down what CBAM means for Northern Ireland manufacturers and what businesses need to understand as the requirements increasingly influence international trade.

For Allied Group, these conversations are incredibly important. Regulations are changing quickly, and businesses need more than information, they need to understand what those changes mean in practice and how to prepare for them.

Dual Market Access and the NI Opportunity

Another standout session explored Northern Ireland’s unique Dual Market Access and the opportunities it creates for businesses looking to trade and grow internationally.

Kieran Kelly led the panel alongside Alastair James, Ian Laverty, Michelle Lestas and David Honeyford, bringing together different perspectives on how Northern Ireland businesses can make more of their position within both UK and EU markets.

It was exactly the kind of forward-looking conversation we love to see practical, relevant and focused on where businesses go next.

The Conversation Continues at Beyond Borders Summit By Allied group

The NI Manufacturing Show may be over, but these conversations are far from finished.

On 1 October 2026, we’re bringing businesses, industry experts and decision-makers together at ICC Belfast for the Beyond Borders Summit.

Many big names will be joining us as we take the conversation further, exploring CBAM, Dual Market Access and the wider opportunities and challenges facing businesses as we head towards 2027.

After such a fantastic day at the NI Manufacturing Show, we’re even more excited to keep the momentum going.
